Mood Board For Evil Forest

I created a mood board for the evil side of the forest, I will be using this mood board to help me draw out an evil looking forest.

I don't want the evil forest to have any leaves, I would like it to look old and dead, I would also like the main tree to have big roots like the tree in the bottom right of the mood board, I could then change the roots to tunnels for rats, but the main tree would be bigger than the rest and but would also look like someone is living there as the tree is the antagonists house.
