Quick Proposal and tasks

Our first assignments as a team are to create a Character Art Book and an Environment Art Book as well as a Game Design Document for our game. The working title is currently ''Flint and The Curse of Master Beakwynn''

The game is a 3D platformer influenced by the likes of Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64 and of course Mario 64.
Players will take control of Flint, a happy-go-lucky, adventurous young bird boy. In an attempt to turn all that is good to evil, the vengeful Master Beakwynn has placed a curse on the animals of the forest. Almost everyone is under a trance - from the mole town below the ground, to the village in the tree tops and everywhere in between. But this won't stop our brave protagonist from visiting each of these areas and freeing his friends from the evil spell, before coming face to face with Master Beakwynn.

We have some research to do so we have divided the following tasks across the team. We already have near final versions of the protagonist and antagonist. However, we want to make sure we do everything we can to ensure their personality and character shines through in their design. We will be considering shape and form, colours, proportions and looking at references. We will also be preparing mood-boards and gathering research on the different environments in our game.
